The Omaha Wireless network is a free service provided by the Omaha Wireless Group, the University of Nebraska, and locations providing access to the Omaha Wireless network. By using the Omaha Wireless network, you agree to these terms.

Responsible Use and Awareness of Abuse

Be aware that as you connect a system through the wireless network that you may expose your personal devices to vulnerabilities including: worms, viruses, trojan horses, denial-of-service attacks, intrusions, packet-sniffing and other abuses by third-parties.

You are responsible for securing your own machines. For assistance finding software, see the Wireless Links section of this site.

You are responsible for all machines you connect through the Omaha Wireless network.

Liability

The Omaha Wireless Group, the University of Nebraska, and locations providing Omaha Wireless access are in no way liable for any damage, undesired resource usage, or detrimental affects that may occur to the user's computer while using the Omaha Wireless network.

You are responsible for any actions taken from your computer, whether intended or not, that cause damage or otherwise affects other computers or users.

By using the Omaha Wireless network, you release the Omaha Wireless Group, the University of Nebraska, and locations providing Omaha Wireless access from liability for any loss, damage, or injury which you may sustain as a result of being allowed access to the Omaha Wireless network.
